Saunders' Rocks Beach
About
The last of the Sea Point beaches, closest to Bantry Bay, is Saunders’ Rocks Beach. It has less space for sunbathers because it is dotted with outcrops of rock, but is popular with swimmers and families due to the small tidal pool. The pool is set in a magical position between mammoth granite boulders. There are also natural pools and gullies on the rocky shore. Although this beach is considered safe for swimming, it is recommended that beach goers only swim where and when a lifeguard is on duty.
